Hello Everyone,
For those who will be attending the National Meet one week from now we are in desperate need of additional volunteers. Many jobs have been filled but over 100 positions remain open. The Michigan Chapter, and the National organization, would very much appreciate it if you could help in some way.
First, a reminder. To attend the National, and even to volunteer, you must be a current NCRS member who has registered for the convention. If you did not register for the convention and pay the registration fee you can still attend and assist but you will also be required to pay the $20 late fee when you arrive.
If you did not register and do not intend to do so, then thank you for your willingness to assist but I must unfortunately ask that you not sign up for any volunteer positions.
For those of you registered and willing, I have placed a list of current available positions on the internet. In addition I have attached to this post a pdf list of the positions in case you cannot access Google Docs. Please note that over half of the positions have been filled but are not included in what you can see.
What you need to do is follow the link below (or look at the attached pdf file), see if any of the positions interest you, and then sign up for those positions.
Each day of the week has its own page, and those are identified at the bottom of your screen.
Be sure to scroll down the page, as Monday and Tuesday especially have many open positions which go below the bottom of your screen.
Please place your first and last name in the form at the appropriate position. Then, go to the last page no changes to the spreadsheet other than what I just described in the line above.
If you are unable to use Google Docs then please e-mail me your preferences at motorcityregional@gmail.com
Event shirts will be given to you by your Team Leader at your first assignment but are only available to those who sign up for at least two assignments.
