    Anti Freeze

Getting ready to put anti freeze in 1965 327/300hp amd start it .
Iam going to put Zerex G-o5 in it and is this ok. This is a rebuilt motor
and has not any anti freeze in it since rebuilt. Also using distilled water.
    Thanks
    BILL

    Re: Anti Freeze

Zerex G-05 is definitely the one you want to use.

Hi Bill I would use only water for the run in to test for leaks, if everything OK then drain and refill. Phil 8063

I'm with Phil, water is easier to clean up if a leak is found.

Thanks for the reply.Car has been setting for 29 years and stated restoration 2 years ago. Just completing the restro.I have never
had the car started. So tomorrow is the day and sure hope she
starts up. I like the idea of just using water and then drain after
          no leaks.
          Thanks

Hi Bill, Hope you didn't make the mistake I did on my 63 the 1st time it was restored back in 1979 or so. The radiator didn't leak a drop. But at that time I didn't know you were supposed to keep antifreeze, etc in the rad when it was off the car. so about 3 yrs later when the radiator was installed it leaked like Niagara Falls. John

              Hi John
I PUT IN A NEW RADIATOR SO SHOULD BE NO PROBLEM.
OTHER ONE HAD A HOLE IN IT THE SIZE Of MY FINGER.
