    65 A/C inner box bracket

Hi all. I have a 65 original AC car which has had the original AC removed from and replaced it with standard heater. Go figure why. In any event the car is confirmed an AC car. My difficulty has been over the years, is to determine just what parts were needed. I am now in the process of installing the unit and have come across a slight problem. On the inner box there is a bracket that screwed to extreme top left of the inner box and attaches to the upper dash area. From looking at the location of the firewall stud, the bracket should be avout 2" with a dog laeg in it. I have no idea what this bracket looks like, nor have I been able to find such an animal in my searches. Any help, pictures, descriptions or sources would be a great help. I have already learned one important lesson on the outer box.....that the evaporprator (etc) and fan are installed after the outer box is attched. Thanks for any help

      Dick -

I think the photo below shows the configuration of the bracket you're looking for, on the far left (ignore the circled item on the right).

Thanks John.....yup that's the critter I'm looking for. I haven't found any, not even a repo. I have been taking measurements and all that to see if I could make a temp prefab, surprisingly the bracket in your photo looks similar to what I prefab'd. Ha go figure. Many thanks for the photo its the first real time photo I have seen that actually shows the braket. Thanks again.
