Just joined the NCRS (this is my first post) and look forward to exchanging info about these great cars. I've owned this 59 for over 30 Years now and I guess being down to the flasher is a good thing after all this time. The restoration journey sure has been fun though! Pilot Dan

Welcome Pilot Dan. I know from your very knowledgeable posts on CF that you will be a great addition to the NCRS TDB.

Hi Dan......Welcome to the NCRS......and the TDB!!!!

We've conversed a few times on CF, and your input here will be great.

I also own a '59, for 25 years. Helping a friend restoring one now as well.

            Re: 58-62 Turn Signal Flasher

Thanks for the warm welcome guys. It will be great to get some supplemental answers to some of those odd questions which I did not know enough to even ask in the first place before reading the NCRS judging guides. It's from there that this question originated.

So I just looked in my 61-62 JG and I can see no mention of the flasher. I see the 58-60 JG mentions the ZN-232.

Rich, 61-62 uses a 3 lamp flasher. Mine is a 2 lamp, so it would be different. The 58-60 NCRS guide mentions only the ZN-232 as correct but does not go into any detail as to how the markings are presented. The 142 flasher looks and functions the same but of course has the wrong P/N and won't judge correctly. I originally posted this question on CF because I had never seen or heard of an etched flasher before and the person selling them has a reputation for being "creative" and has sold several as original.
