When you open the hood of your car at a NCRS event to be judged, are the judges turned off immediately if you have Vintage Air, because your car did not have air to begin with? How does it look installed ? Similar to the factory a/c? Any extra unwanted chrome accents in the engine compartment? Or is it a nice factory look. Re: Best Exhaust system to replace my "side pipes" for Judging
This is up for all kinds of opinions but I would say Corvette Central but specify CS after the part number for carbon steel. Just be aware that carbon steel rust in time.- Top

Re: 1965 Coupe Vintage Air
Yes, I have seen judges snear at Vintage Air, the compressor, tubing, etc. are totally different from a stock A/C, as is everything else about it, including air box under the passenger side dash. So as I mentioned in your other thread, the point deduct will depend on how much of a purist the judges are, there is some subjectivity and looking closely required, which varies. And yes, carbon steel is the only material for exhaust pipes to pass the magnet test.Big Tanks In the High Mountains of New Mexico- Top
