Link by Vin You boys and girls have a Vette. Most of you will enjoy the ride while some of you will wish you never purchased your vette. In a perfect world you would be able to know about your car from day 1. Documentation is a very important item for any corvette. As you know this is far from a perfect so lets have a vin history for every car. In todays computer world when you can find out just about anything on anyone aside from carfax which by the way is a great tool I use on a daily basis it seems to me that every corvette should be linked to a database. Carfax goes back 15 years (I will check on that) but for now all you glass lovers, if you are buying a vette and you give me the vin I will let you know what carfax tells me for free. CarFax is a safety net but it doesn't tell all. Beware.

When I tried they could not get me any info, especially in the case that one person owned the car for 32 years, there would not have been title transfers that are the basis for their data, not a crash, etc...
