Re: Faces to names at Novi

Thanks for your kindness and helpfulness during the event Mark! Thanks too to all the '70 - '72 judges that helped me make my car better. I got a great score and a nice list of "to do's" ...and I thought I was running out of things to do

I appreciate all your guidance (especially the heater hose broadcast coding) and hope that you went away from the convention with fond memories of Novi and this year's convention. I look forward to catching up with you again.

      Don,

I had a blast! Great to see you guys. Your (and Jeff's) heater hoses looked great.

            Mark

I was telling Ron how much gray brain matter was needed to fly a Boeing 737!!!!! Just kidding.

It was with great pleasure to have Eric Strove OJ with us on Friday he said he learned a lot but I think he was just being nice to the old judges on Chassis. It was a great week viewed many cars and what I always like learned things I did not know before. But I think something I already knew was removed now if I could only remember what was removed.

Here are the 3 Amigos Ron Goduti, Paul Oslansky and Patrick Hulst during Bowtie. We are trying to find the mufflers.

Let's start with Jack Humphrey judging Mech I Bowtie 70-72

Not that I am as important as all the other guys listed, but for the sake of completeness - I am the guy standing next to Jack. I am back in Amsterdam again sorting out all my pictures - had lots of fun and met great people. Certainly observer judging on chassis with Paul and Alan was fun and a good learning experience.

Although not at Novi...but the Queen City Regional last fall...here's one of my favorites of the captain!
I just wonder how much earlier he could have been done judging if he hadn't taken all the time to take all the photos included in this thread...
I'm sure his team leaders had some choice words for him!!!!
