What goes there?

I am assembling the top frame for my 59 and my question has to do with the rear bow. There are 6 weld nuts on the bow. Four are used to attach the swing latches but there are 2 nuts, one each side out toward the curved section, that I have no clue what goes there.
The AIM gives no hints and looking in all the usual catalogs has not helped. I have some pictures I took last year at Carlisle and can see something there but I was not concetrating on that area with the camera.

The strap that bundles (holds) the rear part of the top up when storing it. Most have been removed over the years. There should be a snap button on the top portion of the vertical brace.
