Tell him to look under the dash for one of these. Bet ya 100 bucks it's had this bypass relay put in. Pull it out and your problem will go away ! ( Just a hunch, but I bet this is what you will find. ) It's a bypass. Put the harness back together when you pull it out. Pulled out two of them just last week. Don't ask me how I know this will leave you stuck !!

Have you had the recall done ? Will your steering column lock ?? If the recall has been done, I can assure you this bad harness will most likely be hiding in there.

If the recall has not been done, you will need to have the bypass done ( a different procedure ) to keep the actuator pin from engaging.

I noticed it was down today, but I thought maybe I was kick off because I wrote something about my dealings with George Wright geopar@gvtc.com I don't think he liked the truth being told, and he is a supporting member.

Thanks Tom, I was away from the computer for awhile and just saw your post. I believe he had the recall done but not positive. I will ask him in the morning.
