I apologise if this has been asked before but, I did a search with no luck. I have an early 66 roadster, 327, 300hp, Powerglide, Air Conditioned, A.I.R. California car that I have had since 1977. My question has to do with the license plate location. I have seen reference, and photos, to Air Conditioned cars as having the front licence plate under the right front bumper. My car came with the plate in the center and there is no indication that it was ever under the right front bumper. I am sure I am missing something. Is this correct? If not why?
