    Engine question aluminum intake

My 327 engine has solid lifters. Did the corvette engine
that had solid lifters come with a cast iron intake or should it have had the 365 aluminum intake 3844461part number? The engine to my car is not original . Would like to replace the torker 2 intake with a
365 aluminum intake if I can find one in good shape.
Thanks for any help. Also have a AED 650 doubble pumper carb not the 600 cfm.

    Wayne,

That particular engine would have had a aluminum intake.

I'd definitely get rid of the Torker II. That's a single plane manifold and not really a very good street manifold.

You need an aluminum GM casting #3844461. Expect to pay a "king's ransom" for it.
