    1967 dash tab rivets

Elkhart blue with teal interior, what color should the rivets be, the colors are close.

The answer lies in the color of the tabs. If the tabs are the same color as the center, then the tabs were not painted and the rivets are black. If the tabs are body color, then they were painted and the rivets painted also.

      Hi Keith,

I have an Elkhart Blue coupe with Teal interior. Without checking the exact colour I can tell you my rivets are darker (maybe black) compared to the teal dash tabs.

        Yup, correct for 65 66 and 67. (but not 63 and 64)

For 65-67 with matching interior and exterior colors the end tabs are painted semi gloss interior color along with the rest of the dash panel. The black rivets are not painted.

Keith, Is your fiberglass section of the dash a darker shade or Teal than the rest of the interior parts?

          Thanks, Joe

In answer to your question Joe, yes it is, it is also a little darker than the elkhart. The car did get a top flight without any dings for the teal rivets.
