Do any of you know what words, if any, were on the AC hoses? Goodyear?
    Scott,

I wanted Monte to know it wasn't correct - I knew that wasn't the part that interested you.

I've seen a white line extending down the hose with a code. I can't recall right now what the code was, eg. date or manufacturer or ? Kevin Goodman's photos show the white line if you look hard enough but that's all I see. I suspect he would check if you want to know.

Yes, I know the manifold is wrong. The one on my car is square. A 72, 454, 4-speed, a/c car that just turned 40K miles. I hate to admit that the few thing that are not correct onm my car, I threw away myself any years ago.
Back to what you need. This is just there to show him the other hose. It is original and matches the one that came off my car. I do not know if they made a repop of that manifold or not. I was lucky enough to get a NOS one when I boughht my car in the 80's. Atthat time the car had an aftermarket expansion valve on it. And yes, I know the sticker is wrong.
If you look real close you can see the hose that was madefor the A/C.
The guy that remade my hose (small one) crimped it with something similar to original, but not just like it. He told me we could take his tol and machine a couple of surfaces down and it would almost match.
