    Original teakwood wheel question

A good friend has some original teakwood steering wheels in excellent condition. What is the market price for one? Thanks in advance.

I have a friend who is asking $1500 plus shipping for his 1965 real teak steering wheel. He says he has seen them as high as $3K each.

I saw some nice Teak wheels at Carlisle in the $500-$700 range.

Asking and selling are two totally different animals. I have bought a couple of NOS wheels in unopened GM boxes for WAY less than $3K

I believe there were a couple that went through the auction last year at Bob Mcdorman's, you might be able to find the results online.

They do not show up on Dana's site

Pancho, thanks for the link. I was at that auction and thought the prices were around 1500. The prices on the website do not reflect the 10% buyers fee and state taxes that had to be paid.
