62 - Dimpled dots staked on motor mount nuts?

In the JM, page 62, section 14, Motor Mounts, it states that "Nuts are 5/8" and have 2 dimpled "dots" staked 180 deg from each other on the outer flats of the nuts.

Would someone please post a picture showing these dots?

They are garden variety distorted thread locknuts. Nothing special about them. I am sure that you can google distorted thread locknuts and see a photo of them

Dick, my question is more on the dimpled dots. Can I just use a center punch to make the dots on the outer flats?

Most corvette venders have these nuts.

Don't know for sure about '62 - but the '56-'57 dimpled lock nuts are 7/16x20 x 5/8" hex AF (across the flats). Last time I checked vendors were selling 11/16" AF nut.

Checked all the fastener warehouses that we have used in the past. Seems 11/16" hex is all that is available today

Attached is a pic of the nuts with the dimples.
