    Thanks to those who serve

    Thanks to all our countries service people (Military, Police, Fire Fighters and all other Public Safety Personnel) who have kept our nation safe for the past 10 years. Condolences to those who may have suffered a personal loss 10 years ago during the tragedy we remember on this tenth anniversary.

      I second that, Dale.

      If any of you have ever been to BUDS Chevrolet in St. Marys, Ohio, you've seen the huge American flag that we proudly display at our dealership.

      This weekend we lent the flag to our local fire department for the 9/11 memorial ceremony. Thought I'd share a photo of it hanging between two units of the Celina, Ohio fire department. Members of the fire, police and first responders were there as well as one of my good friends, JJ Winhoven. He was a survivor of the south tower on that terrible day. Thanks to all of the members of our community who made the event possible. I was proud to have our flag be the center display !! Like Dale said.......... Thanks to all who serve.

          Tom, thanks to Bud's for the generosity and best wishes to JJ. Two business associates were on a plane that day who didn't make it. They were great people. Their memories will never die.

              Sorry to hear about your friends, Steve. After the service today my brother, JJ and I went out and got a new football and spent the evening throwing long bombs in the street like we used to when we were kids. Forgot all about the bad stuff for a little bit.

                  This is the first time in the history of the United States that we have been involved in a war with a 100% volunteer force!!!!!

                  Also, even though this is a very un-popular war our troops have been shown support like never before!

                  My hats off to them and the many that have served before them!!!
