Does anybody know of a source of component parts for windshield wiper motors? I had the relay crack, used for parking the blades. I raided the relay from another. Also had to wirewound resistor seperate, had to solder it back to the terminal. I would have preferred a terminal strip with the resistor intact. All I can find are complete motors or rebuilding services.

Re: Windshield wiper motor parts
Roger,
I am doing the same thing for my wiper motor and reached out to Willcox to inquire-waiting for a response. My 68 has a cracked board that holds the motor brushes and the wire wound resistor is also cracked - looking to get them replaced. I will also try to call Cardone to see if they are a resource as well.
I will let you know if I make any headway.

Most of the wiper motor internal parts used to be available from GM. However, they have all been discontinued now for quite some time. There may be an aftermarket source for them since commercial rebuilders presumably obtain the parts but, if so, I don't know what that source is.In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top
