    Car Detective

I have become very interested in finding out what happened to a rare car that disappeared many decades ago. It is not a Corvette, but I am wondering if anyone knows a car detective who could take some owner data and dates and find out. Any ideas welcome.

Yes, I think I have the VIN, and have the state, original owner address and SS#.

I know there is a sometimes poster here that does this and I may be mistaken, but I believe William Gould mailto:billygould@comcast.net has done this in the past. You might check with him.

With the information you have, the owner should be easy to track down for Bill. PM me the VIN, maybe I can help as well. I will sure try.

OK, thanks, as soon as I have the full VIN I will let you know too. It disappeared in LA many decades ago and has never surfaced or even been reported, and considering the rare color and original owner the whole thing is just odd.

No cloak and dagger, I just think people here are not interested in my other car passion, Shelby Mustangs. I am looking for the pink Shelby GT500 given to the Playboy Playmate of the Year in 1969. She died young, in 1995, but the car has never been seen after it was given to her and driven around Hollywood a few years. A very rare Shelby, one of a kind, but all the Shelby experts I know and who keep all the records and registry, have no clue where it is
