    Judging Resources

I attended the Mid Atlantic Chapter judging meet in Hampton, Virginia last weekend. I have only been to a few larger meets but this was very instructional as the cars were judged. There were references that were used as they examined various items. I forgot to ask where these references were taken from as they appeared to be copied sheets in a binder. When the references were consulted it explained to judges exactly what should be found in the areas examined.

    Re: Judging Resources

Walter you may find that many judges will use their own notes and resources along with the judging guide.

These resources can be information from cars they have judged or owned in the past. You will also see some guys have some of their own surveys of certain years to help document changeovers of parts and consistency of the production.

    Hope this helps a little.

      Walter,

Most NCRS Chapters copy the Judging Manuals (Actually titled NCRS Technical Information Manual and Judging Guide or as we call them here TIM&JG). They separate the sections of the manual (Exterior, Interior, Chassis, Mechanical & Operations) so that each judging group will have the appropriate reference for their task. I suspect what you were seeing was simply the TIM&JG separated into its components.
