NAPA, Carquest, Autozone, O'Reiley's, and Advance all have it in stock here. Plus Wallyword

Larry has a copper rad and a big block furnace under the hood and he lives in nearly the warmest part of the country.

I really think he needs a DeWitts as you can't see the difference, they have the original tools for this and then the rest of this is just those motors kick out lots of BTU's.

Up here in the cold north fall is a fun time to get these BB's out as you never have to worry about being cold, nor the car shooting much past 210. Put the top duwn, the windows up and pull that heater switch and enjoy.

Larry there is a surface tension modifier that causes the water in the coolant system to adhere better to the metal and theoretically transfer more heat.

I don't know if they work nor am I all that anxious to experiment with my cooling system.

I hope some of you are listening when I tell you that I had the job back in 80-ish to fix some of these issues with incompatible coolants, sloppy work practices, and arriving at standards for the suppliers. I went all over the country to these suppliers and all the plants.

They were a real mess as what worked for cast iron engines and copper was one thing, cast iron and aluminum another, and then there were those early aluminum blocks, another thing yet.

I did all the formula testing, can't say what is in any given brand on the market as their formulas were/are trade secrets - all I can say is don't go experimenting, and for our vintage cars, change the stuff every year. I know some will cry, but the protective chemicals in these are like anti-oxidant vitamins and they get used up quickly if you have old stuff in your coolant system, like an original block or original soldered copper core. Once you get the corrosion started...ciao.

No - different corrosion inhibitor technologies. Dexcool is OAT, G-05 is HOAT.

Dexcool is patented and trademarked, and anything that meets the Dexcool spec will say Decool on the label.
