First this is a HEI question for the truck I'm working on and if you choose you can deleate it. Here goes - I installed a HEI in my 1969 GMC truck - runs great BUT in doing the wiring I removed the pink wire from the ignition switch ( for a dedicated 12 Volt source - start & run) & now the Alt. is not charging. I must reconnect that PINK wire - but where ??Thank you. Bill Lehmann 11787

William one easy way in my opinion is to make up a wire with appropiate terminals and connect one terminal to the IGN on your 69's fuse block and the other to the HEI and start it up.
