Battery hold down part numbers

Any one know if these part numbers cross to the correct hold down for my '62 battery?
3831632 / 468388

My AIM shows the shield is 3715617 and the retainer is 3710825.

My P&A GM Catalog (effective October 1, 1962) lists the 55-63 Corvette SHEILD as part number 3831632 and the 58-63 Corvette RETAINER Battery top as part number 3710825. Hope that helps.

GM #3831632 is a SUCCESSOR part number for the 3715617 shield. GM #3715617 was discontinued and replaced in January, 1963. GM #3831632 was discontinued without supercession in December, 1981.

GM #468388 is a SUCCESSOR part number for the 3710825 retainer. GM #3710825 was discontinued and replaced in September, 1981. GM #468388 was discontinued without supercession in October, 1994.

As always I defer to you, my 1938 thru 1963 P&A was effective Oct 1, 1962, but revised January 1, 1963. After checking the revisions in the back of the book, it clearly lists that #3831632 is a successor part number for the 375617 shield effective January 1, 1963. Tricky old books !
