Glove Box Light Wire

Could someone tell me what guage the orange ( hot ) wire is in the glove box. I'm lost when it comes to reading wiring diagrams in the AIM.
The archives suggests quick dis-connects for future removal and that is the way I want to go but I don't know wire size.
Your help appreciated. Thank You

My 64 uses 20 gauge wire for all small lights.

Don -

20-gauge is also correct for '66.
