    1967 directional signal

    How do you go about changing the dirictional signal arm on the steering column. Do you need special tools.

    Robert,
    Yes you do but it is a simple one. It is a steering wheel puller.

    You can make one or rent one.

    Your manual will give you instructions but don't forget to disconnect the battery so you don't blow the horn, also make sure you mark the position it was in before you remove it.

      Robert,

      Changing the signal switch arm is a snap once you pull the steering wheel and housing off. You don't need to remove the wheel from the housing, it pulls off as one piece.
