Don't forget that these guys were in the kits for some years. My welcome letter is dated December 4, 1961 and these were in the kit envelope too.

I was lucky in that the niece of the long time (44 year) owner (deceased) of my 65 sent me his original owner packet. The letter from Estes has no date, and the plastic owner ID card does not have te VIN sequential. Interestingly, although not surprising, the Key Code is on the ID card and matches the code on the ignition lock cylinder.
