For the reason I mentioned earlier, I have the list of the engine to option codes for these C3's before it was every published by a Corvette person, or Chevrolet in summary form.
Some on this board have all the Tonawanda audit information starting with the W engines thru the end of production for Corvettes

Check that - a good one - that is why its is being sold at auction - all we know about this is its a sloppy vin pad. What about the rest of the key details?
1 - limited time to ping the internet for 2nd opinions
2 - limited access to the car, can't get under it too much, pull off wheel covers and look for details on the spindles, can't just spend a day soaking up all the options and cross checks to find the flaws (mistakes) that say the whole thing is a fake.

          Hey Mike ....

The 25 points of the remianing 135 points (3%) is roughly 20%.
That is a fairly large number to have to make up for.

I had a fairly nice 72 and I just sqeeked by the 97% - it was hard as hell.

I would imagine that it would be costly to get those points back.

Maybe I should have said " fairly expensive to Duntov ..."

          Just my opinion --
