'65 Bottom

I recently bought a '65 Coupe. I am the third owner of what I think is a pretty unmolested 82k mile car. Here are some photos of the bottom of the car. It looks as if one of the PG cooling tubes has been patched; the brake line that runs on the front crossmember also has some kind of wrap on it. Anyone ever seen such before?

The cooling tubes look normal to me. You can see the covering on the brake line in that photo but the transmission line is normal.

looks like bubba applied some caulking to the front brake cross-over line. probably rattled and the caulking cured the problem. mike

I agree with Mike. Looks like a low tech "anti rattle device"
