Putting the kick panels back together but I can't figure out how the hide the top of the windlace once the kick panel is installed back on the car that the white tubing doesn't show. Pictures would sure be helpful

Working on 1958, I have attached pictures of the end caps but don't understand about putting windlace under them. Also how do I keep the windlace from kinking on the turns? I have cut notches in the back but it still kinks.Attached Files- Top

Bob I see, try heat gun to try to relax it, but not too much as it will blister it. There will be some very slight wrinkles but I don't think they will stay as material shrinks out over a few weeks/monthsI included a pict of pass. side on my 57 when I was test fitting my kicks.
