1963 length of tip of speed & tach pointers

What is the correct length of the tips for the speedometer and tach on a 17,000+ serial number 1963 Corvette?

In the car was a restored tach and speedometer. The pointers of these two instruments go over the numbers and down into the hashmarks between the numbers. I have an unrestored cluster with only the speedometer needle and this needle comes over the numbers but not down in the hashmarks. Both of these clusters have 80 lb. oil pressure guages.
I did notice the judging manual makes reference to the length of tip on the pointers on the clock.

    Thanks for your input.

Mine is a 19,000+ and it looks just like Ken's.

Ken, I noticed your odometer was at 0000 does this mean your cluster/gauges have been restored? This is the way my restored speepometer pointer looks. The unrestored I have the pointer will go over the numbers but not down in the hashmarks. To day I have gotten a picture of a 11,000 serial number car that has not been taken apart and it looks like the untrestored I have just described. What are your thoughts?
        Thanks

I think if you study the two pointers, you will find them the same length. How they're bent determines where they line up. Also check to see if the restored cluster's decal was positioned incorrectly.
