67 Hardtop Header Color

What color would the front header (?) on the hardtop be on a car with a white headliner? By header, I mean the front part that the latches and pins attach to. Should it be white or black, I've heard both ways. TIA Al

My 67 has a white interior, and a white hardtop headliner. The front header piece, as are the other trim pieces are white.
The only things black on the hardtop are the weatherstrips and the vinyl covering.
