Re: Front end clip
I replaced the front end on my '57 with Corvette Image fiberglass products and found it took a LOT of sanding to make things right...
Thicknesses of the fiberglass made me wonder if their molds were
accurate. But after two years of sanding things came together.- Top

Re: Front end clip
I just took a quick look at their catalog. All I saw was hand laid units. If thats what you want, but if you want stick built like the factory did, you will have to use either the individual parts or a built unit. The fit is usually so bad over the dash panel with reproduction parts, I am not sure I would chance the assembled type. I would rather build it myself.
Just ask them who makes it. They dont.- Top

Re: Front end clip
Hi,
Would you be interested in a good used 56 front clip. I replaced it with a corvette images new front clip and wish I had the original back on.
Thanks Mike Anderson (317)729-2418- Top

Re: Front end clip
So what about the paint bubbling issue with the Corvette Image fiberglass? Has it been corrected now?
I've seen a Summersheim front clip put on a midyear and it was very nice and completely assembled except for the inner skirts at the top. My friend bought it from Raymond Leicht: WWW.vetteseller.com who is an NCRS member. He stocks a good bit of their stuff and is a first class guy to deal with.- Top
