66 upper control arm shaft

The Long Island Catalog lists 2 upper control arm shafts for 66. A square cross section for 66E and a round cross section for 66L. I have one of each on my Feb 66.

I do not plan on getting my car judged but since I am planning on a front suspension rebuild I was curious when the change was made from square to round.

I think the round one started showing up in 65. I have a extra round one in good shape if you want it.

My January 3rd built convertible had one round upper control arm shaft and one square shaft when I purchased it with 69 K miles in 1987.
