    Body line question

Just back from the body shop tonight.
Seems to be an issue with the lines on the side of the body from front fender to door to rear fender. (on the side of the car not the top of the fender)
Are the lines, that is the raised area down the middle of the fender that extends to the door cove, then down the middle of the rear fender, suppose to be a sharp edge or a rounded edge?
The attached picture shows the line of which I speak.
At present, the fender has a nice sharp edge to the line but the doors have almost no edge to it. Very rounded off.
    Which is correct?

    Thanks!

The front fender appears sharper as it moves toward the door and then wraps back. Hope these photos help. Original #29

They should be rounded .There are "no" sharp lines on the old Corvettes including doors ,fender.qt.pnl.,hood ,deck lids, etc.

Sharp/rounded is in the eye of the beholder. Hard to show you in the pictures of what I meant.

David, what is all that white stuff?

If someone has a profile gauge they can get you a measurement. Even a cheap gauge like the one below can give you a good indication. This gauge is presently showing the style line of my 64 right behind the front wheel.

I'm no expert but something you rarely see is the sides well done. Usually incorrectly sanded, wavy and the styling lines are not straight. Why is this or am I just being too anal?

            Thanks, Greg

              Thanks for all the replies.
My doors seem to be the correct shape. Rounded, not sharp.
              The pictures definately helped John.
A profile gauge might work on my buddies '61.

And the white crap is poor man's fertilizer.
Even the weather is against me.
              Snow in October?!
              Give me a break!

North Carolina sounds pretty good right now.

              Thanks again guys,
