    Battery Retainer

    Can anyone post a photograph of an absolutely known original as it left St. Louis battery retainer? Some rust and corrosion expected and OK in this instance.

              Jole, I have an original 57 batt retainer, but it is on the car, I could snap a photo or two if you like, it has no recesses for the batt post. really have to be carful when installing it.... I added pictures of original one installed back on my 57, sorry, don't have time to pull off , got to use it this weekend.

                      Adam------This is exactly what I was looking for -- Total verification of no cutouts. Puts that POS cable mighty close to the retainer with felt washer even overlapping slightly. I threw my only orig away (corroded) back in 62. ---Regards/Joel Miller
