Any idea where one could have windshield wiper arms properly re-plated black?

Hi Jerod,
Could you duplicate the appearance of the wiper arm finish with a very thin coat of almost flat black lacquer?
In looking at my originals that seems to be a possibility.

Another item to check is the backing plates with the Patent number(s) stamped in. They are often missing. The rubber insert retainers have some funktoid black coating that would be tough to replicate. I bought an NOS set from our own Pete Lindahl.

Now I am going to have to get Mark to school me on how to post the same picture more than once. That "feature" of VBulletin has frustrated me to no end.Terry- Top

That "feature" can be enabled or disabled with a few keystrokes (at the Administrator level); I visit three other sites each day that run on VBulletin where I post photos regularly direct from my hard drive, and none of them have that "feature" that drives me up the wall here. I am SOOOO tired of having to re-size photos to post them more than once here (especially since Village Photos, my [paid] photo-hosting site for the last eight years, went belly-up and disappeared last month).- Top
