I have been looking for a pair of these for over a year. Driveline doesn't have them nor eBay nor Corvette Forum. Here is a file photo of them.

Re: Are headlight washer check valves reproduced?
AS far as I know they are not being reproduced. They are hard to find and expensive when you do. If anyone does repop them it would most likley be the 1st gen camaro guys. I believe they did the '69 headlight washer solenoid.Larry

Okay...I don't drink hooch but may start after that warning. I'll get a six pack of diet A&W root beer instead. Now...give it to me. By the way, Mark---how can one tell if they are good or not?- Top

"Bel Air Bob" reproduces the 1st-Gen Camaro RS/CE1 headlight washer solenoid valve for the wiper motor, but nobody reproduces the check valves yet (which were shared with the Corvette).- Top

Re: Are headlight washer check valves reproduced?
Yesterday I was told that Camaro reproduction parts places sold them so for two hours last night I looked. The person who told me thought I meant solenoid valves. Common misunderstanding but I sure saw a lot of Camaro parts.
Thanks- Top

Re: Are headlight washer check valves reproduced?
Rich, from the posts I have read about these valves you seem to have first hand knowledge, too. I haven't heard back from Mark so in the meantime how can one tell if the valves are good or bad?
Thanks,

Re: Are headlight washer check valves reproduced?
The 1969 versions are all black, right? Could the all black ones have overlapped into the early 1970 Corvettes? I may have overlooked it but I could not find a reference for the check valves in the 1970-1972 JG.- Top

Re: Are headlight washer check valves reproduced?
My 1970, Jan 29 on the trim tag, has the black & white ones. I posted a picture just before the NJ Regional earlier this year. At the time everyone was all ga-ga over the fiberglass tape around them. BTW: I have been looking for the all black ones on a 1969 and haven't yet seen them, but they are where the sun don't shine. And in fairness I had to go looking at my car when asked. I never knew there were there, but I have only owned the car 41+ years.

Re: Are headlight washer check valves reproduced?
Kurt Neiman (Alaska) says that the headlight washer check valve reference may be in the next edition of the 1970-1972 JG. Someone is supposed to be sending me one of the all-black ones and I might have a lead on another all-black one but I prefer the ones correct for a 1970.My 1970, Jan 29 on the trim tag, has the black & white ones. Re: Are headlight washer check valves reproduced?
Thanks! Does the tape support the hoses and valves and taped to what else? Love those photos. The thread I referenced above:

Re: Are headlight washer check valves reproduced?
No support from the tape. It only keeps the rubber hoses from pulling off the valve -- and I am not sure it ever did a very good job of that either. In its advanced state of decay it now does nothign except get all of us excited.Terry- Top
