Re: 2014 corvette ???
Right now I'm neutral, but it will probably grow on me.
Rumors are that it will be a little smaller/lighter than the current C6. That will make or break the deal for me.

Re: 2014 corvette ???
Seems too over-designed. Too many details that struggle to relate to one another. Not to be so critical, but it looks like every scoop and vent design cliche has bee tacked onto the body- not sure what this design is trying to accomplish. IMHO.- Top

I'm wondering if GM isn't dipping its toe in the water to make a run at the OVERALL WIN at LeMans..........Chris Enstrom

Re: 2014 corvette ???
My understanding from Jalopnik's site of this C7 execution posted was that it was generated by Jalopnik in a very short amount of time. For me, it lacks refinement.
The design elements on this particular rendering seem to randomly compete with one another and create a look that is disjointed and lacks cohesiveness. As an enthusiast of both Corvettes and Design, I think this is the weakest of the "Official C7's" seen to date. The design seems too evolutionary as well to be deemed a C7-would have expected more of a progression. But that is just my opinion-I been wrong before
Here are a few other "C7's" that have surfaced for y'all.- Top

Re: 2014 corvette ???
That picture is probably pretty close, not much of a change from the C6, and since the BG factory is only going to be closed a month or so for the change-over retooling, not much of a change is expected except cosmetic. And Lutzy was quoted as saying they had to make it look more European or Ferrari like to attract the "younger" buyers since all us old Corvette guys are going out of the buying force and it has to appeal to "new" buyers more than us.Makes you feel old and unwanted.
