    70 Coupe Jack Stowage Compartment

What type of drainplug/grommet goes into the hole in the bottom of the jack stowage compartment? I've gone through the AIM three times, but can't find it.

Anyone have a part # or picture?

    TIA,
    Mike

Mike, I used one of the short, wide plugs shown to the left of this picture in that compartment, and I used the tall thin one to the right in the battery compartment. Here's the link from Corvette Central:

      Hi Mike,
The plug in my 71's battery compartment floor is marked CAPLUGS with BP-3/4 below. This is seen from the jack side of the plug.
Perhaps it's what belongs in your 70 too.
      Here's a picture.
      Regards,
      Alan

Here is a web site it looks like the company is still in business and still makes the plug.

Guys, just to be clear, are yall saying that an OEM plug in a 70 should have the markings as shown in Alan's pic?

GM #4725594. It was discontinued from SERVICE in January, 1970 and replaced by GM #4805844. The latter is still available from GM.
