    1967 Small Block Radiator

I need to replace mine and was looking for a good vendor that can provide a good dated product.

Any suggestions? You can send me a private e-mail if you wish.

    Thanks,

    Jerry

Almost everyone is in agreement that DeWitt's has the best reproduction out there. Their radiators are top-notch, and probably better than OEM. They are also a NCRS Advertiser and have a link on this discussion board. Also have ads in the Driveline.

You cannot go wrong with this product.

DeWitts manufactures the ONLY reproduction radiator out there. All the others are simply replacement-type radiators, most of which do not perform as well as the DeWitts product or original radiators.

However, the DeWitts radiator can be purchased through most of the Corvette parts suppliers. Just make sure that what you're getting is the DeWitts reproduction of the GM #3155316 radiator. These radiators are expensive. Good things usually are.

The radiator can be ordered directly from Tom DeWitt at: http://www.dewitts.com/pages/categor...ts.asp?catID=1

I've had a DeWitts in my 67 L79 for two years without ANY issue. Expensive, but WORTH IT!

DeWitt radiators cost less than the last prices charged by GM, when those old prices are adjusted for inflation.

In 1983, for example, I bought a new GM radiator for my '63 and the list was ~$600 at the time.

                    That's a bargain compared to the ~$600 I paid in 1983 dollars.

Don't forget to have it dated properly for the build of your car.

Gerry, its well worth it believe me you will be glad you went with it. Peace of mind as well. I believe it comes with a 5 year warranty. I put one in my car last fall and this summer when it got to 95-100 outside my car didn't go past 180. I would do it again in a heart beat.

                          Jerry,

I just went thru the NorCal Regional with a new, correctly dated, stamped and decaled radiator in my 67 and it passed without comment. Zero point loss...priceless.

Still recovering from Thanksgiving dinner...I left out that the radiator was a Dewitt...a true piece of industrial art.

In 1983 the GM #3155316 radiator carried a GM list price of $665 and a dealer cost of $432.

As a result of the cumulative inflation rate since 1983 to 2011 these are equal to as follows:

                              $665= $1,512

                              $432= $982

I actually hate to post this; Tom DeWitt might see it and raise his prices.
