70 trailing arm bumper on frame

Do the reproduction bumpers pass judging muster and what are the differences between reproductions and originals?

What is the finish on the attaching nut? All repros are bright zinc. As best I can tell my originals appear to be gray phosphate.

    Thanks, Bill

    Bill

From memory witch now is not as good as 10 years ago. The nuts were a blacken finish. But the suspension bumper stops are such a small item in the frame area that the finish on the nut would warrant a no deduction even if it is seen. The rubber stops are very close to the originals so in my opinion and you know what an opinion worth is everyone has one there would be no deduction ether.

With that said on originals I remember there were some embossed numbers in both the front and rear stops. What they were I do not recall I have to go and look at my used original parts inventory to give you a better answer.
