Re: Founders award
The Folz award is only given out at Nationals, and you're competing against an unknown pool of other cars. In other words, you need to have achieved a Top Flight AND driven your car the furthest. The Top Flight piece is known, but who else is driving their car? Don't know. It is, however, a "one step" award. You only need to go to one event to get it. In that respect, it makes the Folz award "easier" than the Founders, which requires a trip to multiple events.Chris Enstrom

Re: Founders award
Founders does need to be flight judged, but can be done at a chapter meet and only needs to get at least a 3rd flight. Operations how ever need to be 95 percent if I remember correctly. Operations only at a regional and again at national.- Top

Re: Founders award
The car must also be driven at least 500 miles on the National Road Tour to the convention.
There are some other components of the Founders' Award that the owner must fulfill. He/She must be at least a Level 1 judge or tabulator and write an article for THE RESTORER.- Top
