    427 hood number fastening

    Are both posts on each number fastened with a speed nut and are the nuts black oxided on a 68?

      Nuts are black Oxide. Small type and not the replacement large ones. Also greyish black dum dum or puddy and when tightened it will ozz out a bit.

              Without looking at the AIM, I don't know for sure. The AIM will tell you without any of us going into the cold to look at our cars (for those who have a 427 at their disposal).
