    The rookie has returned ...245 HP or 270?

    IMG_0496.jpgThese carbs are 6-1299 but the back one has 1161 stamped very faint on it.. O-049 on the bottoms. Are they 245 hp or 270.. how can i tell the difference by looking at them?IMG_0502.jpgIMG_0503.jpgIMG_0501.jpgBare with me guys, I am still learning.

    They are 245 HP carbs. The auxiliary air valve weights have the short lever and the main nozzle tubes are cut at an angle.

        Anyone in need of some 245 carbs to trade for some 270 carbs looks like I screwed up and bought the wrong carbs for my car. I thought I was a 245 HP until a judge looked at it and told me it was a 270 HP.
        These have never been on the block nice setup.

          Your engine pad identification suffix should be CU if it is a 270hp engine at least that is in the Judging Guide.

            I do have the correct block, just not the carbs. So, now I just need to get rid of the 245 carbs or trade them for the correct 270 carbs. I am sure there is someone with the same issues as I, who maybe in need of a 245 setup. Or.. maybe not.
