detailing car in kissimmee before judging

I am driving my 69 to kissimmee thursday morning. Is there anyone on premisehat details the cars?

Should I just bring some soap and a bucket and do it myself? Is there a place to wash it myself?

The event has a wash area near the swap field. Upon arrival personnel in the registration tent can direct you to it. If you arrive before registration opens, just ask for the security chairman and I'll assist you.

I'll wash it for $1,000.00 but you'll need to bring the supplies and beer.

Can we have a car cleaning contest? I have been so longing for one of those.

That sounds more like the NCRS people I know...most of the time it is an email that they have parts available for sale at 10-20 times the going rate. I wonder if beer woild do a good job dulling down my door jambs...

                Hi Gary,
I think it depends on if the beer will be spilled on jamb on the WAY IN, or splashed on the jamb on the WAY OUT!
                Regards,
                Alan

One of these years I might surprise you all by making my home and drive way available for car cleaning and boarding (east Orlando, 20 minutes from Old Town), but none of you have sucked up to me enough as yet. In fact, most everyone of the serious members totally disregard any of my posts as being from some crazy old man, or fool at best. OK, I hear ya.

Actually, this year may have been the best as the wife is back in her home country through early February (she's not a big car fan and only just tolerates my hobby). Guess I been too busy doing what all old men will do when their wife leaves them to their own devices. i.e. staying up late, driving or working on my Vette every day, drinking more than one beer, pigging out on fast food, etc. At least I don't miss my therapy sessions or forget to take my meds - yet.

                  Mostly in jest.......

The Registration Booth has been in the parking lot of the host hotel -- The Comfort Suites -- for the last few years (well maybe the last lot of years), but someone from the Florida Chapter will have to tell us for sure that it will be in the same place as usual. They (the Florida Chapter) do a good job of posting signs around Old Town to tell us tourists where to go, or you can ask anyone with a meet badge where they got it.

I always bring copies of my registration papers, but I have never needed them in 30 years -- so you are probably OK. Now having said that, I have probably jinxed myself this year.

There is a view of the site on the last page. Just need to know your name when you arrive at registration and my ladies will take care of you.
