I'm seeing RED!
Some of you may be wondering where my project is in the process. The body has been to the fiberglass guy for some major repairs and then made it's way to the paint guy about the end of August.
He proceeded to repair the minor fiberglass problems we encountered, which were many. Cracks, seperations, incorrect rivets etc, etc, etc...I'm sure you all know the encounters associated with these projects. We were finally satisfied with what we had come up with and last Thursday we laid the first RED paint on her interior and trunk. Then Friday we put on the clear. Now we wait a couple days and the wet sanding and buffing begins. Not a lot to look at just yet but it is nice to see red paint again. Forward progress!
