    thanks for all of the notes. i am going to get some of the dupont lub and see how it works. one qustion was who made the seals. they are from GM, purchase inabout 1982. i purchased car back then and had a lot of NOS which came with it.

      Murple is what is used these days in production as it is a lot cheaper. Krytox is still used to fix squeaks until a better fix can be implemented. You just might try armorall but the big question you-all are missing is the quality of the rubber you are installing.

      All the repro stuff is generally way to hard and not near the OE specs. I've been in that business and sent every repro part back due to being made from too hard of a foam, not foam rubber at all or just plain sloppy poorly copied parts.
