    Re: 5 speed replacement

Robert, I installed 5-speed in my 61 vette. It was not easy and i had the body off. If you are interested i can send you an E-mail on things i had problems with. Dominic 32415

I did the Hurst Driveline conversion on my 62 with the body on. I bought the kit directly from Classic Chevy before Hurst bought them out. Drop me an e-mail with your number and we can discuss this conversion as I can not type that much. LOL Most of the problems I had would have been eliminated with the body off. Think I'll drop off an e-mail and find out. You will really love driving your car with that 5-speed. I drove mine 6800 miles last year here in Ohio, took it to Charlotte for the Good Guys show, 485 miles, and it was a blast. Hope this helps
