I have the one shown below and am trying to put a part # to it. I realize it is not Corvette (who uses blue paint ? Buick ?) but it seems identical to one on eBay, #3868806, (link below)which shows in GM parts books as for '65-6 Pass. w/396; '66 Corvette w/427, P.G. [not many of those produced]
Notice the upper quadrant on the engine side missing paint. The part # for '67-8 changed to 3899668, with the center hole (crank flange) increasing by 15 thou.
What flex plate did small blocks use ? This one has a 14.25" O.D. ring gear and 168 teeth.
And why don't the P&A parts books show a part # for the ring gear (alone) ?
