    Fuel pump mount bolt assy

For a 73 SB, what are the washers that go on the 3/8 bolts for the pump body. AIM shows this as an assy with no details. My guess this is black phosphate bolt.

I found star washers on the 1/4 bolts for the pump plate. AIM also show this as an assy with no details. This bolt has org paint.

The bolts used a captive washer and that's why it is described as an assembly. The bolts were black phosphate-finished. They were once available in SERVICE but have been discontinued for about 10 years

      Thanks Joe,
I believe that the bolts I have are the original but the washers are gone. The 3/8 bolt must have been an external toothed star washer then since splits aren't captive. My 1/4 inch bolt still has the captive star washer.

They were definitely not star washers on the pump mounting bolts. They were either flat washers or split lock washers (I've forgotten). They are very difficult to remove from the bolt and I can't imagine one breaking off.

              thanks all,
This is what I wanted to know. Looks I don't have the originals anymore.
