    65 Dashboard refurbishing

I took my 1965 dashboard apart completely, sent to Long Island Corvette for all the necessary parts I needed to refurbish it. Unfortunately, I could not get an answer today to a couple of simple questions. The GREEN filters (new ones) came with a shiny side and a satin side. Which side goes out so when you're looking at the turn signals, so they're correctly lit? Secondly, when replacing the trip odometer lens & thick foam rectangle gasket, it came with 2 very small flat rubber seals for the lens. Do the seals go on the down part of the lens to hold it in place on the large bulky housing or on the top side of the lens? Any pictures would be greatly appreciated. I took this apart about 7 months ago, took plenty of pictures but not of the above items (duh, what was I thinking).

The green filters originally were satin on both sides. The satin side goes to the outside and the shiny side to the bulb. As for the trip odometer lens the small black seals go to the bezel side and the lens rail on both side contact them. Retainer is placed over the lens and secured. The large square seal goes on top of the retainer, usually glued on one side.
